Though the storytelling can be uneven, and many questions go unanswered, The Maxx remains an unflinching examination of some very sensitive subject matter carried by ahead-of-its time digital animation. On this episode, Jeremy Parish of Retronauts joins us to explore how big, purple dudes with yellow claws can teach us a lot about feminism.
